Winter overnight bans, towing, and general street-parking limits.
Street parking in Vaudreuil-Dorion is governed by a seasonal overnight winter ban tied to snow-clearing operations, plus year-round limits on how long a vehicle can sit in one spot.
Winter overnight parking ban (Nov 15 – Apr 1)
From November 15 to April 1, on-street parking is banned every night from midnight to 7 a.m., except on nights the City specifically announces that parking is allowed.
The City updates a recorded info line daily around 5 p.m. to say whether parking is allowed that night - this depends on the weather and planned snow-clearing operations. Residents can also sign up for the City's alert system (email, SMS, or app) for these updates.

Towing
Vehicles that violate the winter ban and block snow-clearing operations can be towed - typically to a nearby permitted street, the Centre Multisports André-Chagnon parking lot, or the City's snow depot on rue du Voiturier. Towing fees apply.
If your vehicle has been towed, call the City's 311 non-emergency line to find out where it was taken.
General street parking limits (year-round)
Under the City's traffic bylaw (Règlement no 1806), a vehicle cannot be left in the same spot on a public street or lot for more than 72 hours between April 2 and November 14, or more than 48 hours between November 15 and April 1.
Recreational vehicles (RVs) are limited to 12 hours in the same location, and parking on bike paths is prohibited.
