History
This stone house in Old Dorion, along Vaudreuil Bay, was built in 1798 by Jean-Joseph Trestler. It stayed in the Trestler family for more than a century before eventually becoming a museum.
Why visit
Maison Trestler is now a 16-room house museum furnished with period pieces and artifacts. It's also known locally for a long-standing ghost story tied to the house, and it hosts a summer concert series and a Christmas market.

Admission:Adults $10, students 6-16 $6, family pass (2 adults + 2 children) $22; free for children 5 and under and for members.
Tue-Fri 9 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1-4:30 p.m., Sun 1-4 p.m.; closed Mon & Sat. Hours can change seasonally - call ahead.
