History
This parish cemetery sits beside Église Saint-Michel de Vaudreuil, whose parish was founded in 1771, and is inventoried as a heritage site by the Répertoire du patrimoine culturel du Québec. It's the burial place of historian and priest Lionel Groulx (1878-1967), who was born and baptized in this same parish and died in Vaudreuil-Dorion - he was brought back here after a state funeral at Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica.
